He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. McGarvey and Joyce A. McGarvey (Fenton); his son Zachary McGarvey; his brothers-in-law, Theo Verules and Randy Libbert; his nephew Nicky Libbert; and his father-in-law John C. Ewers.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki McGarvey (Ewers); his daughters, Lynsay North (McGarvey), Alicia Burtin, Macy Blume (Burtin) and Grampy; his grandchildren, Braxton North, Piper, Cohen and Walker Blume; his siblings, Gayle McGarvey, Jill McGarvey, Joy Scott (Scotty) and Jim McGarvey (Anna); his mother-in-law Patsy Ewers; his siblings-in-law, Debbie Libbert, Darlene Waggoner, Johnny, Jerry, Bobby and Jimmy Ewers; and his pet Dixie. He is also survived by his daughters that she was his "favorite" daughter.
