She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Pointer and Clara Pointer (Pearon); her spouse W. G. "Buck" Schaefer; her children, Randy and Debbie; her sons-in-law, Dick Helmig and Jerry Shockley; her granddaughter Samantha Schaefer; and her great grandchild Morgan Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vickie Helmig of Hoschton, GA and Charlotte Belser (Aaron) of Laughlin, NV; and her children-in-law, Aaron Belser and Margaret Schaefer. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren.
