It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Gene Tyree of Linn, Missouri, who passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Earl and Ruby Opal Tyree (Monroe); and his grandsons, Cory Tyree and Cody Patredis. He is survived by: his children, Carl Tyree (Lisa) of Pensacola, Paul Tyree (Julie) of Denver, Dale Tyree (Robin) of Owensville, Kelly Hale of Jefferson City, John Helmig of Belle, Matt Helmig (Darlene) of Belle and David Helmig (Christina) of Tebbets; and his siblings, Herbert Tyree of Linn, Ronnie Tyree (Darlene) of Chamois and Betty Miller of Linn. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Solid Rock Cemetery in Judge.
