He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hoelscher and Gladys Fritchley (Moeller); his brothers, Lloyd Hoelscher and Jerome "Jerry" Hoelscher; and his father-in-law Tommy Fritchley.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Mengwasser; his daughters, Heather (Kaleb Faber) of Overland Park and Kristen (Mitchell Haun) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Keegan, Everly Faber, Eleanor and Beckett Haun; and his siblings, Joan Dudenhoeffer (Dave) of Linn and Dennis "Pedro" Hoelscher (Sarah) of Linn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
