We announce the death of Jerry Lee Baker Jr. of Linn, Missouri, who passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 69. Jerry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Jerry will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Jerry will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Jerry’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his brother Raland Baker. He is survived by: his parents, Jerry L. Baker, Sr. and Bennie Baker (Wilmot); his sons, Joshua Baker of Linn and Elijah Baker of Linn; his grandson Aiden Baker; and his siblings, Edward Baker (Kathy) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Melody Musser (David) of Niantic, Connecticut and Gina Meyerhardt of St. Louis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Michael Cemetery.
