He was predeceased by: his parents, William Shelley Sr. and Marie Shelley (Vehlewald); his siblings, William Shelley, Jr., Clarence Shelley, Velma Huesgen, Ida Stewart and Marcella Sturdevant; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Hoelscher and Patricia Deters.
He is survived by: his daughters, Beatrice Shelley of Linn and Rebecca Shelley of Linn; his sister Irene Grothoff of Jefferson City; and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Gabelsberger (Bob) of Frankenstein, Wanda Rothove (William) of Frankenstein and Donnie Hoelscher of Jefferson City. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Morton Chapel - Linn (911 E Main St, Linn, MO 65051). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Linn Public Cemetery.
