Mervin B. McDaniel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mervin B. McDaniel of Linn, Missouri, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray B. McDaniel and Julia McDaniel (Gove); his wife Ruth Marie Kliethermes; his parents-in-law, Andrew and Cecilia Kliethermes (Luebbert); his sister Mildred Gabriel; and his siblings-in-law, Carol "Dolly" Dubrouillet, Patty Rohan, Willis Gabriel, Edward Dubrouillet, Peter Rohan, Anthony "Bob" Kliethermes and Andrew "Sonny" Kliethermes.
He is survived by: his children, Merva Lea Koenig (Kevin) of Crossville, Debbie Bonnot (Tom) of Littleton, Jeanne Walther (Glenn) of Lexington and Mike McDaniel (Carla) of Bonnots Mill, Missouri; his grandchildren, Brother Nicholas Koenig, Laura Johnson (Kevin), Benjamin Koenig (Samantha), Matthew Koenig (Amanda), Craig Bonnot (Mindy), Brian Bonnot, Katie Cassmeyer, Samuel Cassmeyer (Kristina) and Connor McDaniel; his great grandchildren, Eleanor, Charlotte, Lillian Johnson, Joseph, Julia Bonnot, Zoey, Jolene Koenig and Tucker Cassmeyer; and his siblings-in-law, James Kliethermes, Dorothy, Margaret and Elizabeth Kliethermes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St George Catholic Church (611 E Main St, Linn, MO 65051). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the St George Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. George Catholic Church.
