She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Edward and Thelma Lorene Helmig; her husband Jim Tynes; her son Jack Tynes; and her siblings, Mary Jo Skidmore, Barbara Kochenburger, Karen Kay Pearson and Dwight Helmig.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Robertson (Mark), Jerry Tynes (Melissa) and Jeffery Tynes (Angela); her grandchildren, Taylor Tynes, Trent Tynes (Klara), Jaxon Tynes and Livia Tynes; her great grandchildren, Jace Tynes, Ali Erny and Wesley Tynes; and her siblings, Ronda Thompson, Brenda Prouty (Jim) and Duane Helmig (Patsy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Solid Rock Baptist Church or Cemetery.
