Steven W. Gentges Obituary
We announce the death of Steven W. Gentges of Linn, Missouri, who passed away on October 20, 2026, at the age of 78. Steven will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gentges and Pearl Gentges (Blackburn); his granddaughter Addie Gentges; his siblings, Vernon Gentges and Shirley Evans; and his daughter-in-law Robynn Gentges.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Berhorst; his sons, Brian Gentges (Amy) of Washington, Scott Gentges (Michelle) of Frankenstein, Tim Gentges (Jana) of O'Fallon and Joel Gentges of Argyle; his grandchildren, Justin Gentges (Kindra), Kevin Gentges, Lee Gentges and Jamie Dorpinghaus (Jacob); his great grandchildren, Kindall Gentges and Kylie Gentges; and his sisters, Elaine Backes (Gerald) of Loose Creek, Beverly Lowry (Steve) of Holts Summit, Edith Kirsch (Dan) of Frankenstein and Janet Orscheln (Melvin) of Loose Creek. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Morton Chapel (911 E Main St, Linn, MO 65051). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
