He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Sr. Helmar and Faye Helmar (Wallen); and his siblings, Darrell Helmar and Janis Stirm. He is survived by: his children, Phil Anderson of Texas, Jeremy Anderson of Texas, Lisa Anderson of Texas and Christie Anderson of Texas; and his sisters, Sharon Brooks of Lockwood, MO and Diane Kenedy of Lockwood, MO. He is also survived by several grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
