Leon O. Charles Obituary
The memory of Leon O. Charles of Lockwood, Missouri, who passed away on July 21, 2025 at the age of 101, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, Leon shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Leon farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Charles and Ruby Charles (Arthur); his wife Roberta Irene Gillman; his son Gary Charles; and his siblings, Nadine Hixon, Gale Charles and Cycle Charles.
He is survived by: his daughter Glenda Gilmore (Mike) of Ashland, MO; and his grandsons, Andrew and Timothy Gilmore (Kristy) of Troy, MO. He is also survived by two great-granddaughters; and one great-grandson.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Red Oak Cemetery.
