He was predeceased by : his parents, Dewey Patterson and Roberta Patterson (Gardner); his wife Paulette Patterson; his children, Troy Patterson and Tracie Germann; and his siblings, Dewey Patterson Jr., Leta Hutton and Lena Mae Fanning.

He is survived by : his sons, Todd Patterson (Becky) of Lockwood, MO and Trent Patterson (Deanna) of Afton, OK; his brothers, Larry Patterson (Janice) of Lockwood, MO, Jerry Patterson (Carol) of Golden City, MO and Leon Patterson (Carol Ann) of Golden City, MO; his grandchildren, Brandi Brabo (Stephen), Dakota Patterson, Destiney Grubbs (Brandon), Tristen Patterson (Tim Cummins), Ethan Patterson and Owen Patterson; and his great grandchildren, Connor Brabo, Jade Brabo, Emma Brabo, Tinsley Patterson and Hadley Grubbs. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
