He was predeceased by: his parents, Palmer Ehrhardt and Lydia Ehrhardt (Kautsch); his wife Del; his siblings, Adelaide Wunderlich (Roy), Marvin Ehrhardt and Ruth Heibreder (Darwin); and his son-in-law Edward "Ed" Rakow.
He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Ziegelbein (Keith) of Lohman, Danielle Rakow of Lohman, Donita Smith (Chevis) of Jacksonville, FL and Dorinda Zacharias (Vaughn) of Kathryn, ND; and his sister Betty Duncan (Bobby) of Centertown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (803 Swifts Hwy, Jefferson City, MO 65109).
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church and School and Calvary Lutheran High School in Jefferson City, MO.
