She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Buchta and Sedonia Buchta (Hofmockel); her husband Lorenz; her son Leonard Strobel; and her grandson Nathaniel Witaszek.
She is survived by: her children, Harold Strobel (Maryann) of Havelock, NC, Linda Wozniak (Mike) of Hendersonville, NC and Mark Strobel; and her brother-in-law Virgil Ehm. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the VFW Post #1003 of Jefferson City or to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Sunday School.
