Carey Rutledge Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carey Rutledge of Lone Jack, Missouri, who passed away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elda Rutledge and Weaver Rutledge; and his siblings, Lois Chambers, Jeanette Bullock, Weaver Rutledge and Kathryn Rutledge.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Rutledge; his stepchildren, Tara Martinez (Leonard), Michael Beard, Gretchen Courtney, Bryan Broussard (Angela Bourgeois), Garrett Rutledge (Christine) and Jennifer Adams (Jerryl); his stepgrandchildren, Trevor, Kyle, Ashleigh, Elise, Blake, Elaine, Alara, Eli, Atticus, Jan and Lyla; and his sister Lottie Crim. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
A reception will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the New Liberty Baptist Church (32310 E Colbern Rd, Oak Grove, MO 64075).
