He was predeceased by: his parents, William Moore and Elizabeth May Shambach Moore; and his siblings, Bessie (John Gollaher), Minnie (William Carlton), Mary (late William Hopkins), Donna (George Darland), Daniel (Eleanore Doughty) and Stevie (LuAnn Love).
He is survived by: his wife Marie Williams; and his children, Carletta (Terry Sutton) of Louisiana, Walter (Jessica) of Louisiana, Nathan New London (Abigail Moore), Scot St (Emily Davis) and Charles. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Noix Creek Baptist Church.
