He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernace W. Charlton, Sr. and Emma Katherine Stewart; and his siblings, Faye Follis, Vernace Charlton II, Keith Springman, Virgil Springman and Clyde Charlton.
He is survived by: his children, Heather Charlton of Bowling Green, MO, Clarence Charlton, Jr. of Oklahoma, Kevin Charlton of Laddonia, MO and Joseph Charlton of Bowling Green, MO; and his siblings, Arthur Charlton and Marsha Springman. He is also survived by 18 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren.
