It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Wombles of Louisiana, Missouri, who passed away on December 19, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of James Wombles to show support.

He was predeceased by : his wife Doris L. Franklin; and his sister Audrey Jane Wombles Holcomb (Robert). He is survived by : his children, Pamela Kay Wombles Murr (Charles) of Pickwick Dam, TN and Timothy Kenneth Wombles of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Crescent Heights Cemetery Association or to the Pleasant Hill American Legion Post 1048 and mailed to Lummis Funeral Home, PO Box 247, Pleasant Hill, IL, 62366.
