With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Ellen Gerard of Louisiana, Missouri, born in Neelyville, Missouri, who passed away on June 11, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter James and Beulah King James; her spouse Jerry E. Dotson; her sons, William Dotson and John Paul Dotson; and her siblings, Walter, Arthur Ray, Roger, Barbara Nell Nolte and Dorothy Dotson.

She is survived by : her children, Jerry Dotson (Raina) and Mary Miller (Owen); her siblings, William James, Tommy James and Diane Barr; her grandchildren, Joshua Hedgepeth, Jeremiah Hedgepeth, Brandon Miller, Bryan Miller, Laura Miller (Shull), Paige Miller, William Miller, Cody Dotson and Shanna Dotson; and her close friends, Julie, John and Austin. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
