We announce the death of Marilyn Mae Woods of Louisiana, Missouri, who passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 68. Marilyn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Marilyn will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Marilyn will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Marilyn’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Duckworth Johnston and Dick Johnston; her sister Tina Johnston; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Woods. She is survived by: her siblings, William Johnston (Sue) of Pittsfield, IL, Pete Johnston (Karen) of New Canton, IL and Betty Knight; her sister-in-law Donna Woods of Louisiana, MO; and her nibling Whittney Lee (Kris) of O'Fallon, MO. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a special "grandson".
