He was predeceased by : his parents, Herschel Hamilton and Elfrida Hamilton (Dickerson); his wife Mary Lou Slinkard; and his siblings, Carl Hamilton, Kenny Hamilton, Lewis Hamilton and Doris Yahn.

He is survived by : his daughters, Christy Stoneking (Jeff) of Lowndes, Becky Francis (Bill) of Farmington and Amy Bennett (Justin) of Lowndes; his grandchildren, Adam Stoneking (Mary Kay), Brandi Yount (Dwayne), Justin Francis, Johnny Francis, Eric Smith, Krista Francis, Ariel Smith, Audrey Bennett (Tyler Williams), Catarina Smith, Macey Gillum (Trevor) and Larry Bennett (Billie); his great grandchildren, Emma, Ava Yount, Nolan and Heidi Stoneking; and his sister Linda Lands of Jackson. He is also survived by his family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ruegg Funeral Home-Greenville (117 Oak St, Greenville, MO 63944). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
