It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Everett Barksdale of Lowry City, Missouri, who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Everett leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Barksdale and LaMyrna Barksdale (Keller); his sisters, Velva McKenney and Barbara Bowin; and his former wife Wilma Barksdale (Judy).
He is survived by: his wife Mavis Barksdale. He is also survived by five daughters and four sons, as well as NUMEROUS grandchildren and great grandchildren.
