He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Scott and Kathern Scott; and his daughter-in-law Jackie Scott. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Kenny and Julie (Bruce Barnett); his siblings, James (Sandy) and Barbara (Howard Taber); his grandchildren, Chris Scott (Sammie), Karlie Scott (Sam Yancey), Caleb Scott, Becca Scott (Jeremy Santiago), Ian Barnett, Sarah Scott Hagelin (Lucas Hagelin) and Destiny Barnett; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Scott, Piper Grove, Evelyn Scott and Baby. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Lowry City Lowry City, MO (500 S Griswold St, Lowry City, MO 64763). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
