He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard Raef and Mildred Raef; his wife Twyla Raef (Lunsford); his daughter Mary Rouse; his great grandchildren, Ella and Westlynn; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn List (Dylan Moore), Kylie Rouse (Bradyn Montgomery), Shiloh Tipton and Shanee Tipton; his siblings, Douglas Raef, Freda Allen, Linda Legendre and Kathryn Cartee (Scott); his son Tony Lunsford; and his grandparents, Fred and Alta Raef.
