He was predeceased by: his mother Marlene Dorothy Friend; his brother Harold "Buddy" Friend, Jr.; his grandparents, Clifford, Hazel Friend, Edward and Mardell Tallis; and his nephew Michael Conway Powers Jr..
He is survived by: his father Harold Clifford Friend, Sr.; his son Buddy Friend (Jackie) of Mehlville, MO; his sisters, Denise Powers (Mike) of St. Clair, MO, Jeanie Corwin of St. Clair, MO, Deanna McPherson (Kevin) of St. Clair, MO and Chrissy; and his stepsister Kelly Pfeiffer (Fred) of St. Clair, MO. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
