She was predeceased by: her parents, George Leighty and Zonia Leighty (Lemons); and her husband William Washburn. She is survived by: her daughter Gail Barton (Ron); and her grandchildren, Surina, Shayne and Shalyn. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, and many extended family.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Dutch Chapel Cemetery.
