He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Scott and Esther Scott; his wife Jeannie; his siblings, Patricia, Lynn, Betty and Jackie; and his son Duane.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Scott (Kelly), Terry Scott (Doreen), Diane Jordan (late Rick) and Dina Kircher (Dennis); and his sister Mariann Parrack. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Legion in Louisburg, Kansas, where Wayne was a lifetime member.
