He is survived by: his wife Pat Massey; his mother Sue Williams (Ford); his sister Natalie McDonald (Marty) of Waukee, Iowa.; his nieces and nephews, Nathan McDonald (Molly), Evan McDonald (Mariah), Philip Spinks (Dana), Adam Spinks (Brooke), Alanna Slack (Josh) and Alison Donalson (Jarred); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Memphis, Luther Slack, Arlean, Emery, Iris Donalson, Miles Benjamin McDonald, Evan, Aubrey, Ramsey and Asher Spinks; and his brothers-in-law, Gary Spinks (Phyllis) and Mark Spinks (Gayla).

The family suggests memorials to the Ethel Christian Church or the Samaritan Hospital Wellness Department.
