She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Bell and Flora Bell (Stone); her husband Truman E. "Charlie" Bowzer, Jr.; her sons, Christopher Truman "Chris" Bowzer and Joseph Stewart "Joe" Bowzer; and her sister Margaret "Margo" Miller-Schneider.
She is survived by: her daughter Ann Sartain (Charlie Switzer) of Columbia, MO; her grandchildren, Patrick Sartain (Ginger) of Hartsburg, MO, Aric Bowzer (Dianna) of Macon, MO and Melissa Wassmann (Jared) of Ashland, MO; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Mackenzie Sartain, Hayden Bowzer, Addison and Logan Wassmann; Denise Dillon. She is also survived by several great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hutton and McElwain Funeral Home (301 N Rubey St, Macon, MO 63552). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Family suggests memorials to the Oakwood Cemetery.
