He was predeceased by: his parents, Arther Dunaway and Nina Dunaway (Faulkiner); and his siblings, Viola Golay, Walter Dunaway, Rayford Dunaway, Donald Dunaway, Darlene Huffman and Harlan Dunaway.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dunaway; his stepchildren, Carissa Pierson (Andrew) of North Carolina and Danny Davis (Christal) of South Carolina; and his stepgrandchildren, Sean-Clay Davis, Autumn Davis and Abbie Davis. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
