It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rex Hughes of Macon, Missouri, born in Marceline, Missouri, who passed away on September 22, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Rolland and Theda Hughes (Still) of Virginia; and his siblings, Kent, Rand and Holli.

He is survived by: his children, Ronald Hughes (Michelle) of Cleveland and Shelley Martin (Jason) of Trenton; his siblings, Kim Hughes of Brookfield and Patricia Lynn Couch of Sauk Village, IL; his grandchildren, Alana Hughes of Jarrell, TX, Ty Parson (Jessica) of Moberly, Will Ollmann of Macon, Justin Martin (Cheyenne) of Trenton and Jadyn Martin of Lincoln, NB; and his great grandchildren, Oakland, Aria and R. J.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
