He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter L. Slover and Mary June Slover Sr. (Magers); and his son Robert Slover. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Brown; his son Tim Slover (Dustie) of Macon, Missouri; his sister Brenda Lewis (Greg) of Macon, Missouri; and his grandchildren, William, Chloe and Braxton Slover.
Memorials in memory of Walter may be made to Macon County Historical Museum or Macon Elks Lodge.
