He is survived by: his wife Paula Kay Burress; his sisters, Kathy Barnes of Madison, MO and Dawn Phillips (Dan) of Madison, MO; his in-laws, Cathy Rives (Bill) of Columbia, MO, Michael Burress (Vivian) of Columbia, MO, Ruth Walla (Dan) of Lincoln, NE and Gary Burress Jr. (Toni) of Lincoln, NE; and his nieces and nephews, Lacey Deacon (Brad) of Cairo, MO, Jody Pugh (Laramy) of Winterset, IA, Kara Mickels (Jon) of Paris, MO, Michelle Rives of Columbia, MO, Rachel Rives of Columbia, MO, Tim Rives (Tiffany) of Washington, MO, Jeremiah Lyne of Lincoln, NE, Brandon Burress and Jasper Burress of Lincoln, NE.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Agnew Funeral Home (128 W Caldwell St, Paris, MO 65275). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Madison Lions Club or the Madison Christian Church.
