Jerry Diggs Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Diggs of Maitland, Missouri, who passed away on July 20, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Diggs and Joyce Diggs (Ward); his son Mark A. Diggs; and his son-in-law Steven L. Nielson (Labrador). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Yvonne Ramsey; his children, Julie M. Nielson, David D. Diggs and Jeff E. McIntyre; his grandchildren, Matthew Brown (Elizabeth), Shawna Sielert, Daniel Nielson (Jessica), Silas Nielson (Alisha), Sara Schulter, Jessica Johnson, Molly Roberts and Christopher Michael McIntyre; his great grandchild Steven Y. Nielson; his sister Judy Hawkins (Jim); and his pet Digger. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory (5005 Frederick Ave Suite A, St Joseph, MO 64506). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
