She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Taylor and Ica Thrasher Taylor; her husband Bobby Dwain Brown; and her siblings, W. C. "Dub" Taylor, Harold "Hank" Taylor, Bob Taylor and Bonnie Furlong.

She is survived by: her children, Jared Brown of Malden and Kimberly Mize (Michael) of Springfield; and her grandchildren, Madelynn Robinett, Taylor Mize and Dillon Mize. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
