It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max Hilfiker of Malden, Missouri, who passed away on September 8, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Max may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Hilfiker Sr. and Mary Hilfiker. He is survived by: his wife Renee Hilfiker of Malden, MO; his children, Inga Hilfiker Ladd of Dexter, MO, Hamilton Hilfiker (Christina Baltimore) of Malden, MO and Wesley Hilfiker of Malden, MO; and his siblings, Julia Beck (William Beck) of St. Louis, MO, Janice Barney (Robert Barney) of Dexter, MO, James Hilfiker (Cathy Hilfiker) of Gideon, MO and Blynn Atchley (Adelle Atchley) of Cape Girardeau, MO. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bradshaw Funeral Home, Inc.-Malden (1005 S Madison St, Malden, MO 63863).
