He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Chailland and Marian Masters Chailland; his son Jonathan Cross; and his siblings, Edgar Chailland and Marian Christain.
He is survived by: his children, Heather Chailland Colbert, Leah McFall (Mah), William Richard Chailland and Richard Chailland, Jr.; and his siblings, Jack Chailland (Deborah), Phillip Chailland and Wanda Leeker (Tom). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 1 great grandchildren and a host of other friends.
