It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ida Rose (Mertz) Sapp of Manchester, Missouri, who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William G. Sapp; her parents, William P. Mertz and Ida Mertz; and her siblings, Lorraine Triola (Sam), Elvira Rowold (Edwin), Delores Boehme (Edwin), Gladys Nadler (Donald), Darleen Fenimore (Ron) and Melvin Niere.
She is survived by: her sons, Michel Sapp (late Ruth) and William "Jeff" Sapp; her grandchildren, Linda Miller, Pam Lumpkin (Tony), Travis Dyer (Jennifer) and Judy Arnold; her great grandchildren, Danielle Kootman, Callie Miller, Chandlir Miller, Steven Arnold and Kyle Arnold; her great great grandchildren, Weston, Karter and Kora Kootman; and her sister Norma Frankenbach-Merritt.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory (14960 Manchester Rd, Ballwin, MO 63011). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
