She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis A. Shimel and Mary Lee Shimel (McClanahan); her husband John "Port" Cole; her siblings, Jesse James, John Alva, Willis Ray Sr., Willard Adin Shimel, Mary Jane Saladin, Malinda Elizabeth Morris, Susie Ross and Tennie May Day; and her daughter Carol Jane Hanger.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda Quinn (Joseph) of Mansfield, Patty Hanger (Gary) of Mansfield and Jana McConnell (Monty) of Marshfield, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Don, Brad, Jeff, Nathan, James Hanger and Mandy Sigafus. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home - Mansfield (209 N Lincoln Ave, Mansfield, MO 65704). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at the Nancy Newton Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Nancy Newton Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
