We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2025, at the age of 66, John Lewis Mattox Sr. (Maplewood, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Armin and Mary; and his brother Gary. He is survived by: his wife Mary Mattox; his sons, Andrew (Chasity) and John Jr.; his grandchildren, Hailey, Mia, Maggie, Cayden, Anna, Cora and Carlee; his great grandchildren, Aliza and Rylee; and his siblings, Mary, Larry, Sharon, Theresa, Peggy, Annette and Lisa.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jay B. Smith Maplewood Chapel (7456 Manchester Ave, Maplewood, MO 63143). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (10305 Big Bend Rd, St. Louis, MO 63122).
