He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Swatek and Florence Swatek; his siblings, Frank Swatek and Madonna Waeltermann; and his son John Kirby Swatek (Eva).
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Marie (Gerry); his children, Nicholas Lee Swatek, Jr. (Pia), David (Alicia) and Martha (Joe Loconte); and his grandchildren, Tina Laurberg (Bjoern), Todd O'Neill (Marie Louise), Jemma (Nicholas Naughton), Deanna Nafzger (Jon), Anthony (Megan McDonald), Andy (Melanie Santiago), Kirby (Jeongmin Choi), Samantha (Kodey Walt), Caitlin Petersen (Kevin), Scott Carter, Nina Spitz (Doug), Jennifer Williams (Devan), Mollie Carter, Michelle Loconte, Melissa Loconte and Noelle Plucinsky.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Jay B. Smith Maplewood Chapel (7456 Manchester Rd, Maplewood, MO 63143).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. John Nepomuk Chapel for the preservation of this historic Czech (read Bohemian) Chapel (a collection basket will be passed at Nick's funeral service).
