He was predeceased by: his parents, Mason Dale and Mary Helen Englehart (James). He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Johns of Murfreesboro; his children, Deborah Beal (Tom), John Andrew (Suzanne) and Robert Mason Englehart (Susan); and his sisters, Barbara McDermott (Bob) and Mary Cartwright (David). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
