He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Shepard and Dorthea Shepard; his wife Jeanette Alleen Gordon; and his brothers, Bill and Jerry.
He is survived by: his significant other Barb Fraser of Fredericktown, MO; his son Ron; his daughter-in-law Sarah Shepard of Grassy, MO; his daughter Tami; his son-in-law David Young of Houston, TX; his son Robert; his daughter-in-law Melissa Champagne of Elsinore, MO; his son Jimmy Champagne of Orlando, FL; his grandchildren, Lane, Rain, Roni Jo Shepard, Emily, Joshua Young, Harley, Cicely, Rhiannon Champagne, JJ Champagne, April and Brandon Lincoln; his siblings, Carol, Sharon, Linda, Janice, Diane, Ron and Frank; and his pet Tessy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grassy Friendship General Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
