He was predeceased by: his in-laws, Glenwood and Edith Propst; and his brother-in-law Melvin Holzum. He is survived by: his wife Tammy VanGennip; his siblings, Michael VanGennip (Dorothy), Lynn VanGennip (Ruthy), Sharon Brucker (JC) and Dianne Holzum; his siblings-in-law, Randy Propst (Cindy) and Tina Henderson; and his pet Lacey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
