With solemn reverence, we commemorate Rick Kight of Marble Hill, Missouri, whose life came to an end on October 31, 2025 at the age of 69, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John U. Kight and Pauline Kight (Croy); his son Ryan; and his brothers, Herman, Stanley "Rex", Bobby (Peggy) and Danny Kight.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Kight of Marble Hill; his children, Matthew Kight of Jackson and Chelsey Kight of Jackson; his grandchildren, Peyton, Blaine, Mia, Ace, Gibson Kight, Ryder and Kyx Young; his siblings, Fred Kight (Saundra) of Whitewater, Scott Kight (Cathy) of Jackson and Kieth Kight (Kim) of Leopold; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Kight (late Stanley) of Whitewater and Karen Kight (late Danny) of Jackson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center (640 W Independence St, Jackson, MO 63755). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Pulliam Cemetery.
If considering a memorial contribution, the family suggests St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
