He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford J. Hewlett and Mildred Hewlett (Schnake). He is survived by: his wife Merceda Hewlett; his daughters, Tamera Vallejo (Tom Vallejo) and April Hewlett; his siblings, Barbara Vargas of Texas, Stanley Hewlett (Nicki) of Scottsdale, Arizona, Donnie Hewlett of Aurora, Missouri and Steven Hewlett (Jeanette) of Aurora, Missouri.; and his grandchildren, Gabby Sacher (Kyle Sacher), Karly Vallejo of Folsom and Alyssa Hewlett-Mandich of Sacramento, California..
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Peterson Funeral Chapel (229 W Church St, Aurora, MO 65605). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (301 S College St, Marionville, MO 65705).
