She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Benton and Iniseta Benton (Wise); her son Steven; and her siblings, Darrell and Shirley.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth; her sons, Doug Maples (Carla) and Paul Maples (Melinda); and her grandchildren, Anna Maria Maples (Mark Dobo), Samuel Maples and Boyd Maples. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
