He is survived by: his sons, Roosevelt Bourgeois (Wanda), Mark Bourgeois (Betty), Christopher Cushman and Zachary Cushman; and his sisters, Sharon Robins (Lester), Lorraine Cushman and Margaret Huff. He is also survived by five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren.
