She was predeceased by: her parents, L. Frederick Longfellow and Emily Fox Greig (Longfellow). She is survived by: her spouse Major James L. Thompson; her stepfather William E. Greig; her children, Dr. James L. Thompson, Jr. (Kathy), Greig Evans Thompson (Deborah) and Mark R. Thompson (Stacey); and her siblings, Henry Greig of Dover and Ellen Stinson (Walter) of Gorham. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
