She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph R. Gibson and Donna A. Gilmore Gibson; her husband James Wayne Friend; her daughter Rebecca Anne Friend Green; her grandsons, Ethan Robert Tweedy and Henry James Vaughn Jacobs; and her brother Billy Earl Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Troy Lee Tweedy Jr. (Dana) of Marshall, Scottie Wayne Tweedy of Salisbury, Kahtrena LeAnn Palmer (Brandon) of Gilliam and Kathrine Nicole Friend (Haygen Jacobs) of Slater; and her stepson Jason. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; as well as other extended family.
